Ukrainian Christmas

We have continued to host Ukrainian refugees at our home in Snagov. We have, at the moment, 15 people that are there from 3 families. January 7 is the day that Ukrainians celebrate Christmas, and we wanted to make their Holiday away from home to be a time of celebration. Thanks to the Buhler MB Church's New Year's cookies fundraiser, we were able to buy gifts for each person in the house. We also had a nice meal, full of many Ukrainian traditional foods, including verinika (a Mennonite dish I grew up with!) A very special day!
